Terms and Licence

In short: you buy a licence to use the software on up to three of your own computers, for as long as you like. Support and updates are guaranteed for ten years. You try it free for fourteen days before paying anything. Nothing here takes away a right the law gives you as a consumer — where a clause below and the law disagree, the law wins.

Trading as DC TradeLab. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that company, and “you” means the person buying or using the software.

What you are buying

A licence to use the software. Not the software itself, and not its source code — the same arrangement as every other piece of software you own.

It does not expire

The licence is perpetual. There is no monthly subscription and no renewal fee. Once you have paid, the version you bought keeps working.

Three machines

You may run it on up to three computers that you own or control, at the same time. You can free a slot yourself in the portal whenever you change machine or reinstall Windows.

It is yours to use, not to pass on

The licence is personal to you. Do not sell it, rent it, share the key, or install it for someone else. That is what ends a licence.

Do not take it apart

No decompiling, reverse engineering or removing the licence check — except where the law expressly allows it, which in the EU it sometimes does.

To enforce the three-machine limit, the software derives an identifier from each computer and sends it to our licence server. What that means for your data is set out in the privacy policy. If an activation is ever refused and the portal cannot fix it, write to support@dctradelab.com — a person will sort it out.

Try it before you pay

Every product has a 14-day free trial, on one machine, with nothing withheld. No card details are asked for, and the trial does not turn into a paid subscription — it simply stops.

This exists because order-flow software either fits how you trade or it does not, and no product page can tell you which. Fourteen days on your own instrument, in your own session, will.

Price, payment and your right to change your mind

The price is the one shown on the product page when you buy. DC FINANZINVEST S.R.L. is not currently registered for VAT, so no Romanian VAT is added to it. Nothing is sold on this site yet; this section describes how it will work when checkout opens, and this page will be updated before the first payment is taken.

The 14-day right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract, without giving a reason.

Software is a special case. The law lets you get access immediately instead of waiting out those 14 days — but only if you agree to two things separately at checkout, each with its own tick box that is never pre-ticked:

1. You ask us to begin supplying the software immediately, during the withdrawal period.
2. You acknowledge that by doing so you lose your right of withdrawal once supply has begun.

We record both, and we send you confirmation of them. If we do not obtain both, your 14-day right stands and you can withdraw and get your money back in full. This is Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, as transposed in Romania by OUG 34/2014.

Because there is a free trial in front of the purchase, this is not a trap: by the time you pay, you have already used the software for up to two weeks and know what you are buying.

Refunds beyond that

If the software does not do what this site says it does, you have a legal right to have it fixed or your money back — that right has nothing to do with the 14 days and does not run out with them. See What we guarantee below. Beyond the law, if you have a problem, write to us: it is a small company and a person reads the email.

Support and updates: ten years

We commit to providing support and software updates for ten years from the date of your purchase — including the updates needed to keep the software working with new versions of NinjaTrader 8 and with Windows, and the security updates needed to keep it safe to run.

This is a contractual commitment, not a marketing line. It is also what the law expects of a perpetual licence: for digital content supplied once, we owe you the updates you can reasonably expect for as long as that is (Directive (EU) 2019/770, in Romania OUG 141/2021). We have chosen to state a firm number instead of leaving it to argument.

Updates are free within that period. Support means the person who wrote the code answering your email — not a ticket queue, and not a chatbot.

If you choose not to install an update and something breaks because of that, that part is on you. We will tell you plainly when an update matters and why.

What we guarantee, and what we do not

The honest split.

We guarantee it is as described

The software does what the product page says it does, works as described in the documentation, and is fit for the ordinary purpose of software of its kind. If it does not, you have the statutory remedies: repair, and if that fails, a price reduction or your money back.

We do not guarantee you will make money

No tool sold here predicts prices, gives advice, or produces a trading result. What you earn or lose depends on your decisions, your instrument, your costs and the market. Read the risk disclosure before you buy.

We do not guarantee it is defect-free

All software has defects; ours has had at least one serious enough to document publicly. Test on a simulated account before you risk money, and test again after each update.

We do not control what it depends on

Your broker, your data feed, your internet connection and the NinjaTrader platform are outside our control. When one of them fails, the software may not behave as it should.

What you are responsible for

Every order in your account

The software helps you place and duplicate orders. It does not decide anything. Every order that reaches your broker is yours, including the ones you did not intend.

Your own accounts only

The copier is for copying your own trades across your own accounts. Trading or copying into an account belonging to someone else is a regulated activity in most countries and is not what this product is for.

Your prop firm’s rules

If you trade a funded or evaluation account, that firm’s rules decide what you may do. They change them without notice. No tool sold here keeps an account compliant.

Third-party costs

NinjaTrader 8, Order Flow+ where a product needs it, a tick-capable data feed and exchange data fees are separate and paid to those companies, not to us. The requirements are listed on every product page.

Liability

Where the law lets us limit what we owe you, we limit it to the amount you paid for the licence. Where the law does not let us, we do not try.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or intentional fault, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. In particular, your statutory rights as a consumer — conformity, remedies, and the time limits attached to them — are not affected by anything written here.

We are not liable for trading losses. Not because a clause says so, but because the software takes no trading decision: it displays information and duplicates orders you originated. If a defect in our software causes damage that the law makes us answer for, we answer for it — and we would rather fix the defect.

When a licence ends

A perpetual licence ends in one of two ways, and neither of them is us changing our mind.

You stop using it

Nothing to cancel and nothing to pay. Uninstall it whenever you like.

You break the licence terms

Sharing your key, reselling the licence, or removing the licence check ends it. We will contact you first unless the abuse is obvious and ongoing.

If a licence is revoked in error, we reinstate it and say so. If it is revoked for cause and you disagree, write to us; if we still disagree, you keep every route in the section below.

Trademarks and independence

NinjaTrader® is a registered trademark of NinjaTrader Group, LLC. No NinjaTrader company has any affiliation with the owner, developer, or provider of the products or services described herein, or any interest, ownership or otherwise, in any such product or service, or endorses, recommends or approves any such product or service.

DC TradeLab is an independent software vendor. It is not a broker, an introducing broker, a clearing firm, an asset manager or an investment adviser. It holds no client money and has access to no client trading account. Other names on this site are stated as compatibility facts and are the marks of their owners.

Law, disputes and complaints

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, that choice does not deprive you of the protections your own country’s law gives you, and you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live.

Start with us. Write to support@dctradelab.com. Most things are a misunderstanding or a bug, and both are faster to fix than to litigate. We answer every complaint within 14 days.

If that does not resolve it, consumers in Romania may contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC, anpc.ro). Consumers elsewhere in the EU can use the consumer dispute body in their own country. We are not currently signed up to a particular alternative dispute resolution body; if that changes, it will be named here.

Changes to these terms

The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones published on the day you bought. Changing them afterwards does not change your deal.

When these terms change, the date at the top changes and the previous version is kept. If a change affects existing licence holders, we tell them by email before it takes effect.
