Because you are buying before the infrastructure is finished, before there is a single review, and before the licence server is deployed. That is a real risk you are taking, and the price reflects it.
A discount with a stated reason is a discount. A discount with no reason is an inflated list price with a sticker on it. We would rather tell you which one this is.
The founder price applies to everything in the bundle, permanently, including every update. It does not renew, and it does not come back once the cohort is full.

The licensing client and the payment provider are still being built. Until both exist, DC TradeLab cannot deliver a licence key — so it will not take payment for one.
